I work on the welding planner

A small tech team owns the software for a robotised production line in Verdal, and I am one of them. Most of my week goes into the welding planner. What the team covers reaches a fair way past the line itself.

The work

Most of it comes down to planning paths and building the tooling around them. Some weeks that is the planner itself. Other weeks it is the interfaces and the plumbing that let everyone else see what the line did.

Aker's other projects pull the team in as well, down to data collection frameworks feeding machine learning.
